Adventures in living a healthy, juicy life

Be Happy When Things Aren’t Perfect
The young man in the image below is holding an “unsolved” Rubik’s cube and declaring it conquered – he’s very happy.
Why is he happy when the puzzle really isn’t solved?
Because he’s color-blind and can’t tell the difference!
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to look at simple problems as solved even if the resolution isn’t perfect? Often we get our knickers in a knot because things aren’t exactly right.
What follows are a series of images and posts that reminded me to practice habits that leave me feeling young from the inside out.
______________
Perfect Is In the Eye of the Beholder
Sometimes, just relaxing and recognizing that the best solution – given the situation – is all we can do. That is when we have to LET GO and give up arguing for a different outcome.
Arguing with current reality – it should be this way and not that! – keeps us stuck in the same place for too long. My advice for staying young from the inside out?
Stop fighting against what is.
People make decisions that don’t always please us. They made their choice or something else happened beyond their control. Now is the time to move on.
Don’t worry, be happy.
I know, I know. Don’t start singing that song or else you won’t get the tune out of your head all day.

Speaking of seeing things from a different point of view, if Christopher Robin were a teenager, he might see his favorite Winnie the Pooh characters in a slightly different light…this is just for fun. As before mentioned, please don’t get your knickers in a knot
This is a bit irreverent. NOT for kids.

This is a very helpful post!
It is weird when you hear from a 60 year old man say: “I feel like a child” . . .
It is the inner self, the inside world that most people don’t realize and can’t understand what secret power exists there!
Best,
John
