Attract 100 Blog Comments Challenge

Adventures in living a healthy, juicy life

by Cheryl Ragsdale

images Attract 100 Blog Comments Challenge For those of you looking to increase comments and backlinks on your blog, here’s something new introduced by Jacinta Dean on her blog called Creating My Business Online. She calls it the 100 Blog Comment Challenge.

This challenge is a direct hit to help you increase exposure, traffic and to develop key relationships with other bloggers.

Blog Networking is an excellent way to meet new people, read new blogs and learn new things as well as improve our websites page ranking, traffic ranking and most of all generate backlinks.

The idea of the challenge is to get 100 people to participate. Everyone that contributes is to comment on everyone’s blog and if we have 100 people then we should get 100 individual comments! Well that is the plan! icon biggrin Attract 100 Blog Comments Challenge

We are going to run the challenge pretty much from now to the end of August.

I heard about this idea from Thu Nyugen, who provided the buttons for the challenge.
100commentschallenge Attract 100 Blog Comments Challenge
Just below is the link to the instructions and to the most recently updated list of bloggers who are participating. Check it out! Maybe you know some of them.  I’m also including the list here on this page.

I will be updating the list as we go along – but I probably won’t be as up to date as Jacinta is. If you would like to participate in this challenge or would like more information, please click below:

The 100 Blog Comment Challenge Is On!

100 Blog Comment Challenge Contributors

(updated list)

One of the requirements of this 100 Comment Challenge is to submit a contributor’s link to a social bookmarking site.  I’m sure you have your favorites (twitter, facebook, stumbleupon or digg). I’d like to add one more to your list.  TGIF Links is my new social bookmarking site (just like digg, only smaller) – it’s attached to thatgirlisfunny.com

I would love it if you would consider adding links into TGIF as well as to your personal favorites. Take TGIF for a test drive!

Appreciating the persistence you put into your blog and in depth information you offer. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

    Hi Cheryl,

Good thing I checked this post.

Some people have commented here instead of your other post!

I am tally everyone’s comments and trying to find everyone all over the place!

Thank you so much for doing this page for everyone.

I actually think the challenge is going to progress for about another week. So many people have left their commenting to the last minute and have then been shocked at the effort.

Getting the 101 contributors on board was the easy part, it is actually inspiring everyone to complete the challenge that has been hard.

Not everyone has completed it yet. I do hope that most do!

I will be posting a blog post about the results in about a week. So it should be interesting!

    Cheers

    Jacinta :D

This bimbo moment of mine was definitely a big one! I wonder what I will think of for an encore!

      Hi Jacinta,
Well done on the 100 Comment Challenge! I didn’t get to all 100, but I made a valiant effort. I think I got to about 75 blogs altogether. There’s a huge benefit to taking on challenges like this. I’ve met so many new people and discovered some great new blogs. I’m looking forward to our next venture :D

    Hi Cheryl,

First of all, I love your blog! I will have to come back more often to see what you are up to!

I found your blog by following a link to your blog post on “Attract 100 Blog Comments Challenge” in my spam folder. I am a part of this challenge (#20) and I think you were probably trying to leave me a comment on my blog post “http://www.markwsherman.com/200/tribute-to-a-dog/”, but something happened.

I would love it if you would drop by again and leave a comment, as I am still not at 100 comments.

As I look at your website, I am curious how long you have been blogging or working in Internet Marketing? You have a very professional site and are definitely doing things right. Keep up the great work!

    Mark

    Hi Cheryl!

Thanks for the mention. I was thinking of the same thing in listing the contributors but you’re one step ahead. I thought about how I was going to document this idea from Jacinta although she calls it her ‘bimbo’ moment , it’s taking off quick!

I’m going to go ahead and list TGIF Links in my requirements for social as well. Who knows it might take on a 100+ contributor log. Just keep spinning it!

See you at the 100 comments!
