Darren Rowse’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog ebook is causing quite a stir over at thesecretisinthesauce.

This month, this group of over 6,000 women bloggers is taking on daily assignments and challenges to move their blogs forward.

Many of the women are new to blogging. Most of them (us) are learning something from following along with the discussions, tweets and comments about the challenge.

If this is something that interests you, please click the SITS Problogger Challenge icon and sign up. It’s not too late to start!

If you would just like to hover and see what’s happening without anyone knowing you’re there – commonly known as “lurking” – then check this out!

We have a very special event planned for our SITStahs this week!  On Thursday, July 29 from 4:00-5:00 pm MST, we will be hosting a live chat with none other than Darren Rowse right here in our BlogFrog community. Got a burning blogging question that no one seems to be able to answer?  Want to get advice from a true professional?  Then be sure to join us!

A discussion about social bookmarking started as a result of an attempt to herd all of us in one direction to generate some power and push our posts onto the front page of Digg, to generate traffic through getting popular on StumbleUpon and to create a position on Kirtsy.

But we keep running into the same problem…

How do we find each other’s posts easily?

To be able to vote for and comment on, we need an effiicient and effective format for tracking each other down.

That got me thinking about how TGIF Links could be helpful.

Here’s what I came up with.

IMG 00692 300x200 How to Play the TGIF Links Game Effectively for the SITS Girl Problogger ChallengeRegister for TGIF Links.

Per usual, confirm the link in the “Thank You for Registering” email (check your Junk mail folder, if you don’t see the email immediately).

Log in. After you log in, the Submit tab becomes available.

Go to the page where all of the SITS links are located. I will provide a special Tag and a page link.

Take as many of the following actions as you like:

  • Vote for your team’s Most Popular post (highest number of votes) to push it onto the Front  Page.
  • Leave a comment! Either on the original post (click the Post Title) or on the TGIF Links post page.
  • Tweet the original post link or the TGIF Links post page link (tweet button available). Use #SITS and #31DBBB
  • Facebook and stumbleupon buttons are available too if you’d like to share extra love.
  • Vote for 4 other posts!  You can vote for your own posts if you have submitted them.
  • Submit 2 links of your own.
  • Submit one other person’s blog post link. Share the wealth! What goes around, comes around.
  • Friend / follow someone new! Click a profile picture to be taken directly to that person’s profile page.
  • Rinse and repeat tomorrow!

Have fun! Be supportive!
