Hi, Cheryl.
I’m so glad you decided to write about this topic. As a marketer, eliminating ad-speak from your copy is important because it forces you to say something relevant to your customer. Too many ads are overstuffed with polished words and clichéd phrases that deliver no relevant information. These ads lack persuasive teeth. That said, easiest way to improve your copy writing is to remove the ad-speak.

So great to see you! If I hadn’t sampled your cool and easy to use tool, I wouldn’t have known (realized) that I was using ad-speak. I thought I was using the same kind of language that all the “good” marketers used. Thank you for throwing new light on the subject. I felt the difference as soon as I removed the ad-speak.
