Ghosts of Dead Samurai Gathering to Watch Machida vs Shogun2

Machida’s “Be Ready to Defend Your Belt” Game Plan

Father of Lyoto Machida Drinks His Own Urine at UFC 113

1. Befriend the Ghosts of Dead Samurai.

2. Drink your own pee…real warriors drink it straight away – no waiting for it to cool off.

3. Train hard and be ready for a staunch and sturdy opponent.

OK, so that photo is a little disturbing. Don’t believe it? We have it on video.  Gives new meaning to morning breath – kiss, kiss (ewwww!)

You can imagine the scene when Lyoto heard about his father on video drinking pee – “Dad! I leave you alone for 5 minutes and look what happens! You’re giving away the family secrets!”

Lyoto Machida’s Father Drinks His Own Urine at UFC 113

UFC 113 Machida vs Shogun 2 Montreal, Canada

Lyoto Machida, the current Light Heavyweight UFC Champion is descended from a long line of people who dealt with indignities without blinking an eye.

“Good morning, darling! How about a nice cup of pee?”

In American westerns, the hero always rode off after battle on a trusted horse…

Samurai warriors are most often shown on foot, wearing sandals and a kimono…even in the winter. When their battles are over, they make purposeful strides away from the battle field.

Shogun Rua knows he’s up against a tough opponent. Lyoto is defending his family honor – past and present.  All the ghosts of samurai past are gathering to watch Saturday night’s UFC 113 in Montreal, Canada.

Speaking of purposeful strides and ghosts of samurai past, check out this famous sword fight.

Musashi stands in the water on shifting sand without effort.

When  push comes to shove, Musashi can jump.

When everything’s over, check out the mad paddling his oarsman uses to get away (quickly) from the fallen enemy’s soldiers.

ThatGirlisFunny’s Fight Picks for UFC 113

Having said all of that, you can probably guess whose side I’m on.

Good luck, fighters!

__________

RESULTS!

9 May 2010

Good grief! I only picked 4 out of 11 of the winners for last night’s fights. My worst result so far: Mittrione, Davis, Beltran and Salter.

That result was as unexpected as that late “after the bell” punch thrown by Paul Daley to Josh Koscheck.  Josh won the fight and the war – Dana White released Paul Daley from his UFC contract for his unsportsmanlike behavior.

@WolverineTim did well by successfully predicting 6 of the 11 winners:  Shogun, Mittrione, Belcher, Davis, Hendricks and Beltran.

    Pee drinking?

    Really?

Ah well… fighters do wacky things.

Remember Kimo hauling the giant cross to the ring? Kicking ass for Jesus.

Great clip of Toshiro Mifune as Musashi, though. It’s crazy, when you read Musashi’s exploits, some of them sound like things you would only see in a movie. Not many folks like that around!

    keep smiling ;-)

      G’morning, Benjamin,
I’m a huge fan of Toshihiro – I think I’ve seen almost all of his movies. And yes, fighters do some wacky things. I do remember Kimo – the Preacher. Remember his nimble head kick? That dude is huge! The way he lifted his leg and projected it towards someone’s head was unbelievable. He had the flexibility of a cartoon character :D

Drinking my own pee isn’t something I’ve tried so far, although there is a school of thought that says it’s supposed to be great. I met a woman once who swore by it, saying it cleansed the liver and made her healthier. To my mind, anything my body wants to get rid off should probably not be put back in again!

Uh, I think that I’ll have to take people’s word for pee’s medicinal benefits. I completely agree with your “better out than in” position :D

Uh oh, that pee drinking pic is disturbing, seriously, lol.

Anyway, I don’t see the connection of your pee on the fight? lol

About your picks. We are kinda 80% same of choices.
