Adventures in living a healthy, juicy life
by Cheryl Ragsdale
This week’s “Blogging Tips from Expert Bloggers” addresses one of my favorite blogging tips: blog carnivals!
As you may know, each week I feature a blogging tip from Yaro Starak. I publish two different blog carnivals each week on ThatGirlisFunny.
I like blog carnivals because I receive a wealth of new information each week that I don’t have to go and look for. Plus, I’ve met many excellent bloggers. The relationships I’m developing with them are priceless.
The biggest measurable impact is demonstrated by my Alexa ranking moving in the right direction.
In December 2009, my Alexa was in the 450,000 range.
Here’s what it is today:
Join in and send your links to one or both of my carnivals.
Please send different links to each carnival. The topic for each blog carnival is different. It’s easy to submit your links through blogcarnival:
blogging tips from expert bloggers – submit a link
staying young from the inside out – submit a link
4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival enjoy a spike in new readers. For more info from Yaro,

Your turn! What’s been your experience submitting your links to blog carnivals? What were your specific goals? Are you meeting them? Please leave your comments in the comment section located half-way down the page on the right hand side of this post OR click the green button labeled comments above this post to be taken directly to the comment section.
