Flat Ass Fridays – Flaunt Your Flaws!
On Fridays, I’m joining Staci from justbloggled.com to provide a forum to discuss what we find to be “not quite right” about ourselves. The objective is to celebrate what supposedly “doesn’t work”. For instance, I have really big feet – haha! Staci complains about having a flat butt.

If you have a flat butt (or big feet), you’ll never amount to anything.
Part of me thinks that time spent worrying about flaws is a purposeful distraction to keep us from making needed changes or taking on new challenges. I mean, really, if God thought your life would go better with a bubble butt, why wouldn’t he give it to you? Probably you made some poor choices in a past life…
Wait a minute…is that why you have a flat butt? You got it wrong and now you have a flat butt!! No pressure, but how’s your decision-making been going this time around? Are you scoring flat or bubble for your next lifetime?
Should I stay or should I go? Is now the right time to buy or should I wait? What to do?
No one likes me because I have big feet...
None of us likes making decisions like these. We all get caught in the indecisiveness trap. Sometimes, it’s best to wait. Let someone else go first. No need to be the leader. Then when I find out there was nothing to worry about, I argue with myself about worrying unnecessarily. Is that a flaw?
Only if I go through life acting like it is. Uncertainty. Taking risks with little or no information. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. We all make an effort to win more often than we lose. But we do lose. We choose wrong. We should have waited. No one gets it right all the time. And just like a flat behind, you gotta make the best of what God gave you.
“I can’t because I have big feet.”
“They won’t choose me. I have big feet.”
“God gave me big feet just to piss me off. Hah! It’s working! Stores always run out of shoes in my size. The other girls with big feet beat me to all the good ones.”
News Flash: God has better things to do than play games with people’s appendages and rear ends. How do I know? From God’s mouth to my ear. We’re tight. If you’re nice to me, I’ll put in a good word for you.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to open you up to spammers. You said you were doing Tight Ass Tuesdays. I didn’t know a second day with a similar phrase would open up the floodgates…
Sometimes I wonder what I’m doing wrong because I rarely get the spammers. There’s a flaw for you. The spammers don’t like me. Going off to pout now.
Maybe that will be my topic for next Friday.

Yay! I figured you were in holiday mode. I’m glad you’re still doing FAF. I noticed that I have to be careful with how I use the a-s-s word. It attracts the wrong kind of attention from spammers. Flat Friday doesn’t work quite as well. I’m sure everything will sort itself out as we go along. Gotta get busy and get something posted for today. Friday already!
