Stay Young Habit #13:

Take risks: think something through and then express your thoughts to someone

Feeling young from the inside out means managing your internal state. When you get “off-balance”, take time to figure out what’s really bothering you. Sometimes, instead of talking things through, we take actions that we might later regret.

Be brave! Once you’ve got it straight, go and have a conversation to clear the air or to let the person know exactly how you feel or what you’re thinking.

Facebook Fan Pages I’m Thinking of Starting…

Funny enough, since I’m a Brit turned Yank, when I start feeling fractious, peeved or thoroughly pissed off, whatever I say comes out British.  Come to think of it, I am annoyed about something…looking at the above mentioned facebook fan page numbers in the thousands and millions, why does my page look like this?

Honorable Mention:  That Girl is Funny 116 115 fans

I’m thinking I must have a boring facebook fan page. So, to spice it up a bit, here are my ideas for new facebook pages.  Translation follows for those who don’t understand British English. LOL!

That Girl is Funny’s new facebook fan pages:

• I got sod-all done today unless rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic counts.
• Who are you calling common? I’ll ‘ave your guts for garters, mate.
• That’s it! I’m fed up! You’ve put my nose outta joint for the last time.
• Cor! You don’t half get on my wick.
• Wot! I’m not ‘aving that off you, you cheeky bugga.
• Look what’s gone on whilst my back was turned! And there’s me – none the wiser.
• I’ve had just about enough outta you, Mouth Almighty! Please shut up.
• Is that what you think? Then you’ve got another think coming!
• Glad to see the back of you, ya bleeding ponce. Good riddance, you cheesy git!

Translation

• Whatever I did today was an exercise in futility – what a waste of time!
• Being called a name – and letting someone know what I’ll do in response
• You’ve hurt my feelings or upset my plans for the last time.
• You’re getting on my nerves!
• I’ve had just about enough from you, rude person!
• There’s me, in the dark not knowing what went on
• You talk too much, big mouth! Be quiet.
