Hahaha! First of all, the photos are quite funny. Yes, it’s really important when to say “yes!” and “no!”. Even if you don’t want anybody fell uncomfortable, you should know your limits. It’s hard to do, but it’s for your own good.

Well said, Jeanne! Hindsight is 20/20. You bring up a really good point about allowing others to do a giving thing for us. We all feel good when that happens. So simple! Yet, we make it hard. Thanks for that really good reminder. Be sure and stay connected to TGIF!

Great observations, great questions! Back in the day, I thought I had to do it all myself because I didn’t want to inconvenience or impose upon anyone, or I thought I had something to prove. How dumb was that, I finally discovered!

When we ask for help, we’re providing a unique opportunity for the other to do a giving thing; when we say thanks, we’re acknowledging the gift and the giver, and the giver feels good!
