There is this large lady who I see everyday at the subway station. She looks really unkept. Yesterday, she fell over while trying to get into the train. No one helped her.

What stopped you from helping her, Alex? What a strange world we live in

Life sucks enough as is. I’d rather help someone.

Hi Annaly,
Too bad you weren’t at the train station to help the lady who fell over. It seems like we all want to be a hero, but then, when the opportunity presents itself, we drop the ball

I think I’m going to avoid the fml page. I’d rather not join the group. Focusing on what’s going wrong in life certainly isn’t going to fix it.
I’ll stick to the antidote

OMG – 1.1 million ranting depressed people?
Get me out of there!!!!
Cheryl, I could not agree with you more when you say: “Something happens when I hang out with miserable or unhappy people. I lose energy. I physically droop and I get really, really tired.”
I also have those friends and I sometimes will hide from them when they want to get together because I don’t want to deal with all that gloom and doom.
As for finding an antidote – GOOD ON YOU!
We all have problems, bad days, bad months and heck bad years … but we cry, feel sorry for ourselves a bit, learn and then move on … that’s call LIFE!
