Adventures in Living a Healthy, Juicy Life
by Cheryl Ragsdale
Spontaneous. What’s your reaction to that word?
“Do you mean like spontaneous combustion, Cheryl?”
No, grasshopper. I mean like spontaneous fun. Like unexpected “look at me I’m dancing in the middle of the street kind of fun”. Gene Kelly did it in that movie, “Singin’ in the Rain.” Here’s a video of a tough guy dancing in the middle of the road somewhere in the UK.
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson dancing
What would it take for you to do something silly just because it makes you or someone else laugh?
Look at this guy in our next video. Being completely caught up in the moment and enjoying himself – without worrying what anyone else was thinking.
He created a really special 3 minutes for everyone who saw it and for the people watching (over 1.5 million times) this “Guy Starts Dance Party” video on youtube.
“I’ve Got to be Unstoppable”

3 minutes of his precious life. It’s not like he sat down and thought “hmmm…how do I get millions of people to give me their undivided attention for 3 minutes”. He just did his thing and people joined in. He gave a gift to the world. “I gotta be unstoppable, I gotta be unstoppable, hey, hey, hey.”

I’m dancing around just thinking about it.
Speaking of which, wouldn’t it be funny if you recorded yourself doing your happy dance and then sent it to me? That would be unusual.
Remember Dr. Lucky from our “JAWS…Revisited” post?
Lucky would do it. He’d probably send a video doing loop-de-loops with his yo-yo standing knee deep in lake water (you gotta read the post about Lucky if that makes no sense to you).
I’ll choose the most interesting, most fun ones and share them here on Flip Kick Listen. Come on!! Follow in the footsteps of Rampage and Mr. Unstoppable. Send me some video! Be Bold! Take a risk! Conquer a fear!
What’s that, grasshopper? You’re kind of uptight? Feeling a little stiff and self-conscious? All the more reason for you to do it…I bet something miraculous happens as a result of you making a video and sharing it.
Please share your thoughts in the comments section (halfway down the page on the right hand side of this post) …even if you only thought about doing it and then chickened out. Talking about it is halfway to getting it done. Be fearless. Go public. Send me a video of you dancing.
